Three ways a product can be set up. You choose which to offer.
Every product carries an NTAG213 NFC chip, the industry-standard tag that works with iPhone and Android without an app, and we program it before it ships.
Google review finder
Your customer types their business name, the form finds it on Google, and we program the product to open their review page. The usual choice for review cards, signs and plates.

Set up on arrival
They leave the link blank and set the product up themselves when it arrives.

How the money moves on one orderExample
An illustration, not a price list. You set the price your customer pays for every product; the $30 Google review card below is only an example, and the partner price shown is an example too. Your settings page shows the real partner price for each product and your profit at whatever price you choose.
Partner prices are at least 25% below our retail prices on every product and never change with your retail price. Charge more and the margin grows; charge less and the settings page shows what you cover.
Everything about your program on one private page
No login to remember. Your private link opens your settings, your deposit and your orders.
Everything else you might want to know
The long version, for anyone comparing options or briefing a team. The Partner Setup Guide covers the same ground step by step.
Who this is for
Marketing agencies, print shops, sign makers, web designers and reputation-management companies who get asked for NFC tap products and would rather not run chips, encoding software, printers and shipping themselves. It also suits anyone selling to franchises or multi-location clients who want one place to order.
What white label means here
- Your brand, your prices. Products are sold on your website at whatever price you choose. Tap Tag never appears on the packaging, the packing slip or the product.
- Programmed before it ships. The chip (an NTAG213) is written with your customer's link in our shop.
- Blind shipped. Orders leave New York the next business day in plain packaging, direct to your customer. Shipping confirmation and tracking go to you, never to them.
- Custom printed when you want it. Customers design cards, signs, pucks, keychains and stickies in the built-in designer: upload a logo, set text and colors, and the QR code is generated.
Pricing, membership and fees
- At least 25% off retail on every product. Your partner price is our retail price less 25% or more, fixed per product and shown on your settings page. Charge your customers whatever you like; the difference is yours.
- $40 per month. Covers your partner settings page, the hosted order form, the custom-product designer and support. Free for founding partners.
- No setup fees, no per-product fees, no minimum order quantity.
- Your deposit stays yours and is used only for orders you place.
- You are the seller to your customer, so sales tax on your price is yours to handle; ask your accountant if unsure.
Deposit, cards and payouts
- Before going live you add a deposit of $200 or more. Each order's partner price comes out of it when the order goes into production.
- Top up by card any time. A card you pay with is kept on file; add, switch or remove cards on your settings page.
- Auto top-up recharges your default card when the balance drops below a threshold you set, so orders are never held.
- If the balance does run out, the order form pauses and orders wait until you top up; nothing is lost.
- With card payments on, your customer's whole payment lands in your own Stripe account. Stripe's card fee (about 2.9% + 30¢ in the US) is Stripe's, separate from Tap Tag. Nothing ships until the payment clears, and refunds stay in your control.
Shipping and packaging
- Plain packaging and a packing slip that shows your order number, the items and your customer's address. No Tap Tag name, logo, website or prices.
- Ships from New York the next business day. Larger batches may take an extra day or two; we tell you when they do.
- US and most countries worldwide. Ask us for rates to a specific country.
- Products are dynamic, so a link can be changed after delivery without replacing the product.
Artwork specifications
- Cards are credit-card size, 85 × 54 mm, printed edge to edge; lanyard cards are the same size in portrait with a hole at the top. Vector files or images with transparent backgrounds print best.
- Plastic cards print full color on both sides with no limitations.
- Metal cards are engraved only: silver on black or white steel, gold on brass. Solid single-color artwork works best. Half of the back is reserved for the chip window.
- Wood cards are engraved (burned) with the chip hidden inside, so both sides are free for artwork.
- Stickies and keychains are 30 mm round; pucks are 120 mm round; L-signs come in 2.75 × 3.9 in and 4.33 × 5.7 in (custom) or 4 × 2.75 in and 5.75 × 4 in (ready-made). All print full color on the front.
- Customers design custom products in the order form, so you rarely need to supply artwork yourself.
Integrations and testing
- Order form: two lines of code on any page in WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify or a hand-built site. Your settings page shows the code and a live preview.
- Shopify: add a webhook so orders from your normal Shopify checkout reach us automatically, with no app.
- API: custom sites send each paid order with one request; the Setup Guide has the reference.
- Sandbox: new accounts start in test mode, where orders are never charged or shipped. Try the whole flow, then we flip you live.
- Your settings page also limits the form to your own websites, caps daily orders against spam, and resets your private link in one click.
Software and the Tap Tag name
- Products can be programmed to any link you or your customer choose: a Google review page, a website, booking page, menu, social profile or digital business card.
- Tap Tag's own digital business card and review software is not white-labeled, but you are welcome to point products at it.
- The optional set up on arrival choice uses the Tap Tag dashboard, so it is the one case where your customer may see the Tap Tag name. Leave it off to stay fully white label.
- Prefer no customer support at all? The affiliate program pays 15% commission with 30-day cookies. Many partners do both.
Questions partners ask before they sign up
How much cheaper are partner prices?
At least 25% below our retail prices on every product, and the discount is fixed per product, so it doesn't shrink when you raise your own price. Your settings page shows our price, your price and your profit side by side for each item.
Is it really unbranded?
Yes. The product, the packaging and the packing slip carry your order number and nothing from Tap Tag. The only exception is the optional "set up on arrival" choice, which uses the Tap Tag dashboard.
Can I program the products with my own software or website?
Yes. Products can open any link you or your customer choose. Tap Tag's own digital business card and review software isn't white-labeled, but you're welcome to point products at it.
Do you integrate with Shopify?
Two ways: paste the order form on any Shopify page, or add a webhook so orders from your normal Shopify checkout reach us automatically. Custom sites can use the order form or our API.
How fast do orders ship, and where to?
Orders go into production as soon as they're received (and paid, if card payments are on) and ship the next business day from New York, to the US and most countries worldwide. Larger batches may take an extra day or two.
Can I test it before going live?
Yes. New accounts start in sandbox mode, where orders come through as tests that are never charged or shipped. Try the whole flow on your own site, then we flip you live.
What if I'd rather not handle customers at all?
Our affiliate program pays 15% commission with 30-day cookies on referrals, with no support on your side. Many partners do both.
What do I need to supply for artwork?
Usually nothing: customers design custom products in the order form. For tailored products, cards are 85 × 54 mm full-bleed, plastic prints full color on both sides, metal and wood are engraved (single-color artwork works best), and tags, keychains, plates and signs print full color on the front.
What NFC chip is inside the products?
Every product uses an NTAG213 chip. It is the standard chip for tap marketing products: it works with every NFC-capable iPhone and Android phone with no app to install, holds a web link comfortably, and can be re-written or locked. We program it with your customer's link before the product ships.
